We’re pleased to announce that we are installing solar panels on our roof.
This is estimated to generate 11,045 kWh of clean electricity per year, which will signifcantly reduce our electricity costs, and also reduce greenhouse emissions by 2.9 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
The project is being fully funded from two grants received:
- 50% from Low Carbon Dorset as part of the Shared Prosperity Fund
- 50% from the National Lottery Community Fund
We anticipate that the installation will be completed during the first week of August and do not expect any disruption to our users.

The solar installation has now been completed, with 33 solar panels now installed on our roof…
