Do you like jazz – even a little bit – and want to learn more about it? Join us for a simple introduction to one of the world’s greatest art forms!
In ‘Jazz: A Beginner’s Guide’, you will be encouraged to develop your listening skills to hear the many details and intricacies that make this music so endlessly fascinating and guide you through the history and development of the styles.
Retired teacher, lecturer, Bournemouth Big Band Swing & Jazz Club Programme Secretary and erstwhile jazz guitarist Vic Grayson will provide your introduction to jazz; no musical knowledge is required.
We meet fortnightly starting Mon 2 Oct 1-3pm 2023 in The Reef upper room.
