The Reef is a great venue for a wide variety of events including: Children’s Birthdays, Wedding Receptions, Parties, Clubs, Fundraising Events, and Business Meetings.
Main Hall
The main hall has a capacity limit of 100 if seated or 200 if standing, it measures 16m x 7.5m.
The room is equipped with 56 upholstered chairs and 12 x 2m trestle tables, additional tables and chairs may be available on request.
The hall is equipped with WIFI. Music can be played over the speakers in the hall from any phone, tablet or other device with Bluetooth, by connecting your device to our music receiver. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to use the WIFI and/or the music system.
The main hall is equiped with a very large 120 inch screen, we also have a 50 inch pop-up screen for smaller presentations. We can supply on request a projector and a flip chart stand / whiteboard.
Bookings can either be made online via the Hallmaster system, or by contacting us. To make a booking in the Main Hall, click “View Availability” and click the “+” against the date you want.

Upstairs Hall & Kitchen
The upstairs hall has a capacity limit of 60. It measures 12m x 6m and has a small adjoining 4.5m x 3.5m TV lounge which can be separated with a room divider.
Also upstairs is a fully equiped commercial kitchen. If hiring the upstairs room then you can use the kitchen for free to serve light refreshments.
The room is equipped with 36 chairs, 6 x 1m square tables, and 4 round bistro tables, additional tables and chairs may be available on request.
A number of additional facilities are available for additional charges, please request when booking:
– £5 to hire glassware (70 wine glasses, 90 tumblers).
– £5 to hire crockery & cutlery (to serve up to 40 people).
– £10 for the upstairs room to be decorated with party bunting, available in a variety of colours.

How Much Does It Cost?
Bookings for personal events and parties are £15/hr for either the Main Hall or the Upstairs Hall, or £30/hr to hire the whole building.
Commercial bookings, e.g. yoga or dance classes for regular users are typically priced at £18/hr for the Main Hall or £15/hr for the Upstairs Hall, but we offer discounts for early morning bookings, and special prices for ‘not for profit’ clubs and societies.
